Rules For Winter Softball
1.) Must have 5 girls and 5 guys on the field. 2 guys and 2 girls in the outfield, if your pitcher is a guy than you catcher must be a girl etc.
2.) Tournament is one pitch, you pitch to your own team and the pitching pitcher may not field the ball or interfere with the defensive pitcher.
3.) There is no extra foul, a foul is an out, any pitched ball that is not swung at is an out, any swinging strike is an out, etc.
4.) Tournament is wood bat, bats will be provided. ONLY PROVIDED BATS MAY BE USED !!
5.) No Stealing.
6.) In the result of a tie, 1 defensive player will be removed from each team for the first extra inning, an additional 2 defensive players will be removed for the second extra inning ( 1 guy and 1 girl), an additional 3 defensive players will be removed for the third extra inning. If a fourth extra inning is needed an additional 3 defensive players will be removed (leaving 1 defensive player on th field).
5.) An out of the park home run is an out. Good Luck trying!!
6.) If your team consists of only 9 players you may have 5 guys and 4 girls or 5 girls and 4 guys.
7.) Batting order must go guy, girl, guy, girl or vice versa.
8.) Games are 6 innings 3 outs per inning.
9.) NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD!!!!!!
10.) Pinch runners are allowed, the batter must reach 1st base before requesting a runner.
11.) Umpires are volunteers, please respect their calls and don't argue.
12.) Have fun and remember who we are playing for.
